Allen Parish Sheriff's Office Upgrades Radio System!!!

 The Allen Parish Sheriff's office is moving into the information age by complying with the State Of Louisiana by migrating into the 700Mhz band of radio communications. This system is mandated by all state agencies for communications in the event of emergencies throughout the state. This system that is being built out throughout the state allows a patrol unit from Allen Parish to travel to any part of the state and still be able to communicate with the Sheriff's Office, but it also allows for interoperable channels which are used in various locations of the state which allow our units or personnel to communicate with other agencies in a time of emergency without having to acquire another radio to communicate with that agency.
