On July 19, 2018, Narcotics Agents with the Allen Parish Sheriff's Department arrested Thomas Longino on 91 counts of distribution of Hydrocodone, 3 counts distribution of Alprazolam and 11 counts of distribution of narcotics in the presents of a minor child. These charges resulted from an on-going investigation from a search of Longino's home and shop March 29, 2018.

During the initial March investigation, Agents found a large sum of cash as well as a quantity of Hydrocodone, Alprazolam, Oxycodone, Suboxone, drug paraphernalia Longino was originally arrested and booked in the Allen Parish Jail on 6 counts of distribution of Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Suboxone and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.  Agents discovered that Longino had an active video surveillance system, which was also seized as evidence in this case at the time. 

Agents obtained and executed a separate search warrant for the video equipment allowing officers to examine the recordings.  Officers identified more than 98 hand to hand transactions between Longino and 60 subjects who entered the shop and or/ home between March 21, 2018 and March 29, 2018 with the last two subjects leaving just prior to officers executing the search warrant on march 29, 2018.  Officers identified and interviewed 53 of the 60 subjects seen on the video engaging in transactions with Longino.  

This investigation alone resulted in 221 felony drug charges and 53 felony warrants to including distribution, illegally purchasing and possessing Hydrocodone, a Scheduled II controlled substance and Alprazolam, a Scheduled IV controlled substance.

Thomas Longino, 60 of Oakdale is charged with 91 counts of distribution of Hydrocodone, 3 counts distribution of Alprazolam and 11 counts of distribution of narcotics in the presence of a minor child. 

Also arrested on July 19, 2018 and Co- defendants in this case; 

Paul D. Abrusley, 31 of Oakdale- 1 count possession of Hydrocodone.

Mark J. Moward, 47 of Oakdale - 2 counts possession of Hydrocodone. 

Charles W. White, 43 of Oakdale- 2 counts possession of Hydrocodone.   

Robert Yeagley 58, Of Oberlin LA. - 1 count possession of Hydrocodone.

Danny P. Cannon, 29 of Oakdale charged with; 13 counts of possession of  Hydrocodone and 10 counts of possession of narcotics in the presents of a minor child.
