Public Assistance Applicant Briefing for Hurricane Barry

It is the State’s responsibility following a Federally Declared Disaster to conduct Applicant Briefings which are high level overviews of the Public Assistance program and contain information specific to the declaration. This meeting is for all potentially eligible State applicants, including House of Worships and Private Non-Profits to attend.


The scheduled Applicant Briefing for Public Assistance for the Federally Declared Hurricane Barry (FEMA-DR-4458) is as follows:


HURRICANE BARRY DECLARATION INFORMATION
Declaration Date: August 27, 2019 - The State of Louisiana has received a federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Barry, FEMA-4458-DR for the following parishes:
 

Allen Parish
       Allen Parish Police Jury
       602 Court Street
       Oberlin, LA 70655

       Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 11:00 am



Permanent Repair and Emergency Work (Categories A-G):
Allen, Iberia, Lafourche, Plaquemines, St. Mary, Terrebonne, Vermilion 

For Emergency Work (Categories A & B only):
Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Jefferson, Orleans, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. John the Baptist, Tangipahoa, West Feliciana 

The deadline to submit an RPA is 30 days from the declaration date. The current deadline is September 26th, 2019
