 If someone approaches you or your property and offers to clean your property, saying that the debris will be removed by FEMA, It is not true.

FEMA or Allen Parish has not set up any debris removal services for the parish as of now. The person will clean your property, place the debris next to the road and then present you with a bill for the clean up and removal of the debris.

Debris removal companies are deemed to clean up the property and dispose of the debris themselves, not leave it on the side of the road. Please be mindful of this as someone offers you this service.
